- Geraldine’s professional career spanned across 30 years of Public Relations experience, to volunteering since 1997, then full-time as a volunteer coordinator at Assisi Hospice.
- In 2001, she won the inaugural National Volunteer Award for Outstanding Volunteer Co-ordinator Award by National Volunteer Centre presented by then Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.
- In 2011, Geraldine then set up Arc Children’s Centre with Ronita.
- In 2015, she became an honouree of the Singapore Woman Award for her work at Arc, organised by MediaCorp and presented by Minister K Shanmugam.
- In March 2024, Geraldine Lee and Ronita Paul jointly received The Straits Times Singaporean of the Year 2023 Award from President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, organised by The Straits Times and presented by UBS Singapore.
- On 12 March 2025, Geraldine and Ronita were featured in CNA’s Extraordinary People: No Child Left Behind, highlighting their work with Arc Children’s Centre.
Ronita Paul

- Ronita is a UK-trained nurse and state-certified midwife since 15 August 1977.
- She dedicated 15 years of her work experience to a non-profit organisation and a further 19 years at a charity, before setting up Arc with Geraldine in 2011.
- Awarded the Nurses Merit Award by the Ministry of Health.
- On 1 October 2005, she was awarded the Children’s Hospice International Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Award for Outstanding Contribution to Children at Assisi Children’s Centre.

On 8 September 2007, Ronita received the Sister Frances Dominica Award from Children’s Hospice International for her work at Assisi.
