Mrs Goh Chok Tong

PATRON

“It is wonderful to see how dedicated the team has been to nurturing and enriching our children’s lives in a joyful and healthy environment. Above all, it is heartening to see how this mission remains anchored and entirely fuelled by love and the generosity of the community.

All of us remain grateful to our generous donors, including the foundations and corporations choosing to commit their corporate social responsibility initiatives with Arc, as well as our invaluable volunteers.”

Dr Rita Yeoh Joo Seang Founder Chairman of ARC Childrens Centre

The Late Dr Rita Yeoh

FOUNDING CHAIRMAN, CHAIRMAN EMERITUS

“As I reflect on Arc’s life-changing work, I could not help but wonder why our wonderful team of teachers, staff and volunteers do what they do. It may seem obvious that as a responsible charity, Arc is expected to ensure that it remains well run and its work remains effective and sustainable. I can affirm that Arc qualifies all of these but what is at the heart of Arc’s mission? It is not purely for charity which most understand as lending a helping hand to those in need. The very calling of Arc is love – to bring true and committed love to our children.”

One day after an especially painful treatment session, Ezri arrived at Arc in tears. As I started to leave, I saw her immediately rush to hug Aunty Ronita tight like a koala while Aunty Ronita patiently soothed and calmed her down. That moment, witnessing the tremendous love the staff have for their children, really touched me!
