Singapore Woman Award 2015 – Nominees and Honourees
The Singapore Woman Award, organised by MediaCorp, is an annual tribute celebrating ordinary women who have accomplished extraordinary achievements.
Arc would not be around today if not for two women who passionately believe that all children deserve that little extra. Ronita Paul and Geraldine Lee, Arc founders and centre heads, were both nominees and honourees at the Singapore Woman Award 2015 for the work they do for Arc and the community. Humble and unassuming, they remain a core inspiration to Arc’s children, families, staff and volunteers to always place others before self.
“To be nominated and be up against some of the very best is an honour.” – RONITA PAUL
“We would like to thank MediaCorp and Pamela Oei who nominated us. This recognition is humbling for us as it further propels us to continue to give our utmost to the children and their families.” – GERALDINE LEE
Foreign Affairs and Law Minister Mr K Shanmugam graced the event in March 2015. In his speech, he also outlined some of the positive measures that are being taken to address the challenges women face at work and at home.
Founder’s Grant 2016 to 2024
Children’s Hospice International Founder’s Grant 2016 to 2024 awarded for outstanding leadership and programme development for children with life-threatening illnesses.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our Board of Governance and our precious sponsors, staff, partners, medical team, families, and volunteers who have helped us maintain responsible and good governance. Here’s to building a strong circle of care for our children!
We would like to wish Arc a very Happy 10th Anniversary.
10 years seem to be short, but much has been achieved.
I had fond memories of all the children at Arc each time I visit Arc and all the work that has been done by the teachers and the staff in Arc. You are true inspiration; you are truly the light in our lives.
– Dr Maliki Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education & Foreign Affairs
