Guide to Admission and Enrolment at Arc Children’s Centre

Cancer does not discriminate by age, affecting many of our children. As Singapore’s first day care for children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, Arc Children’s Centre welcomes all children from aged 3* upwards, providing them a safe haven to learn, play, and heal.

Understanding the multifaceted challenges faced by these families, Arc alleviates financial burdens with no enrolment or registration fees, and charges a minimal, subsidised daily fee for comprehensive day care services.

Eligibility Criteria for Arc Children’s Centre Admission

Age: Children from ages of 3* upwards with cancer or life-threatening illnesses are eligible for admission, regardless of any bias, to ensure inclusive support.

Non-bias: Arc welcomes ALL children, regardless of nationality, religion or race.

Doctor’s Referral: The eligibility for enrolment hinges upon a referral from your doctor. A referral is important for ensuring that we provide the right services for the child’s medical needs.

Visit: Parents and child are encouraged to visit us for a pre-admission assessment.

Collaborating closely with doctors, we prioritise your child’s well-being within our nurturing environment.

*Younger children can be considered on a case-by-case basis with the doctors.

Fees & Waivers Subsidised by Public Donations

Consideration of your child into Arc’s fold is not monetary based, ensuring that financial barriers do not hamper eligibility.

There is no enrolment or registration fees, only a flat fee of $10 per child per day to cover all services. This is a small segment of the actual cost as it is being heavily subsidised by generous public donations. The fee covers only the days your child attends Arc. Siblings benefit from the same subsidised rates.

This fee is waived for families facing financial challenges.
